Fantastic product for a great value
This is a fantastic compact welder for smaller tasks. It's lightweight and features a convenient carry handle on top. Unlike some more complex models, this one is user-friendly, making it ideal for beginners, yet it's also practical enough for seasoned welders. I appreciate the sturdy construction and the solid feel it provides. The controls are simple to navigate, and the LCD display clearly shows the output current. It also includes helpful accessories and a mask. Overall, it's a great value for the price.

I seems to work ok
I have not touched a welder in decades, the last one I was near was large, clunky and had an on/off and a dial.Hey this one is smaller, by a large margin, it has the dial and a nice led type display, it also is not as heavy.I have a few tasks that I will be using this for, just as soon as I get my welding looking like welding again. The device itself is pretty easy to use, there is nothing sophisticated about using it and is a nice little worker. The great thing is the size makes it really quite portable, so when I do get to do the tasks I have set myself I can carry this around not not worry to much.I like this, really quite nice and just what I need.

Does a good job for a low price.
I’m very inexperienced when it comes to welding, so maybe this review doesn’t carry a lot of weight. One thing I do know, however, is to use a good quality welding helmet. I didn’t trust the included one so borrowed a much better one from a friend. It took some experimentation, but I was able to get some decent welds from this little welder. I’m very pleased with what I managed to achieve. Being a bit hesitant, I didn’t have any problems with the 60% duty cycle, it kept going better than my technique would allow. It’s a very compact bit of kit and is easy to carry around. The leads could be a bit longer, but for casual use, I think they are fine.

Includes basic mask but no rods, instrcutions, good -ve connections & insulated +ve handle. Compact
This welder is very compact, easy to carry around and is good for small home welding jobs where an arc welder is the prefered choice. The casbles are an ok length, not great, so certainly for smaller scaloe welds where you can plug it in and have the metal near a mains socket. The positive and negative leads seem well enought made, if a little cheap feeling, with good copper grounbding strap on the neg clamp and a well insultaed pos rod holder. It includes a very very basic hand held flat packed welding mask (requires bending and clipping sides in and handle on), that has an easily dislodged lens, and not something I would trust my eyesight to unless in extremiss, so I have yet to use the welder becuase I need to get a proper mask.It also doesnt come with any rods at all. For £99 (Nov '24) its ok value, but it would be better if it cost a little more and had a proper budget mask, some rods, and longer leads.

Incredibly capable machine at a bargain price
The media could not be loaded. This is a review of the ROJOO 140A arc (MMA) welder - please check the video for a more in-depth demonstration of this impressive unit's capabilities. This is a tiny, light (less than 5KG) arc welder that comes with a decent set of mini-dinse leads; 1.5m long for the return lead and 2.0m for the stinger. It also comes with a half decent chipper hammer, that is better than those I've had with units costing three times as much.It also comes with a handheld mask thingy but, honestly, ditch that and invest in a decent helmet (they can be had for cheap…).I tried this on 3mm and 6mm steel with 2mm and 3.2mm 6013 rods (oddly, perhaps, no rods are supplied in the box). The video shows the results on both thicknesses and, honestly, the only thing holding it back was my welding abilities. It coped with ease on the 3mm steel (and I probably had it turned up too high in the video) but was particularly impressive on 6mm, which should be right at the edge of its capabilities.Honestly, for the price (plus a decent helmet) this is a go-anywhere tool that can be whisked out, plugged in (it comes with a standard UK 13A plug) and put to use.Recommended.

A good capable no nonsense welder – small in size, big on results
I have welded for decades, both as being part of the job plus hobbyist and my last personal, bulky 200 amp machine I have passed onto my son as I don’t have much use for such a machine nowadays. However the ROJOO MMA-140 inverter welder quite small when compared to my previous machine but it has well over half the latter’s output power and quarter of the size. This is quite robust in design and well made from a manufacturing point of view. The controls are, as most of these arc/stick welders usually are, being quite basic, no frills but this has an LED current display status window. It comes with a set of leads, a basic mask and simple instructions (a look at assorted videos on YouTube can be helpful if unsure) but for sheer portability, this really wins as its about just over the size of an average lady’s handbag, so easy to carry about. This has a quoted 140 amp output, so no mean slouch as size for size, this really does have the power output that belies its size. It has a range of a low 20amp up to its maximum 140amp, so ideal for light fabrication work - and more - for the keen hobbyist. In use I find it easy to scratch start it as so I have not had the usual, dreaded ‘stuck rod’ where it gets stuck and wrenching it off the workpiece. Output is both controllable and consistent after trying assorted sizes of (mild steel applicable) rods on assorted bits of metal I had in the shed, from plate to heavy box section and it coped with them all by adjusting the amps as required. I have always kept my welding rods in our airing cupboard where it’s warm to keep the rods in decent working condition and helps keep moisture out and after a few decades I have never had any problems. For occasional use or hobby work - or the odd bit of industrial fettling - this is an ideal machine as size for size, it gives a good account of itself. It’s a shame we didn’t have this sort of machine decades ago though! A good capable no nonsense welder – small in size, big on results
